The rooms were clean and spacious, with nice bathrooms. The staff, especially Lisa, were friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips for exploring Abel Tasman National Park. The shared kitchen and lounge were well-equipped, and we enjoyed interacting with other guests. The breakfast was excellent and the price was fantastic. We highly recommend this lodge as a great introduction to New Zealand.

We truly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

We would have appreciated some forewarning about the spraying of the nearby orchards, as it made us concerned about the air quality. the power outlets in our room were on an auto-timer, which made it inconvenient to charge our devices overnight.

The hosts are very friendly and provide delicious breakfast with eggs from their own chickens.
